The 2012 Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled.
We are sorry to have to take this course but there was just not enough public support to continue on. The Roman Legion wishes to thank all of those who have worked so hard over the years. We are already planning to do a new parade but at a different time of the year in hopes that there will be greater support. 

The Roman Legion, Ltd. is a nonprofit organization. 
Our purpose is to promote historic preservation and education in
Northeast Alabama and Northwest Georgia.    

Memorial Day is May 28, 2012. 

Please join us in Rome, Georgia to remember, honor and celebrate the lives of those Americans who, for us and our country, have given the last full measure of devotion.

      In the event of inclement weather the Memorial Service will be held inside the City Auditorium.

The Roman Legion, Ltd., a White House Commission on Remembrance Patriot Participant, is hosting the parade and a memorial service following the National Moment Of Remembrance at 3 pm. All are invited To Enter and be a part of this special national holiday tribute.
