Nice site, my unit the 2nd U.S. Artillery, also does The Cherokee Artillery. This flip flopping from USA to CSA is new to me but I'm looking forward to it, your site will be helpful to me in making sure my CSA impression is correct.

My g-g-g-grandfather was William Voit King. He was part of the Cherokee Light Artillery under Capt Van den Corput. I have a picture of him with his horse after war and also just got copies of his records which talk about them being prisoners of war.
